ANNABELLA VACA

I am an award-winning filmmaker (Director, writer, producer, script supervisor) and visual artist. I attended Oakland School for the Arts from 2014 to 2021, in the Visual Arts department. I graduated from California State University of Long Beach as a Cinematic Arts: Narrative Production major with a focus on Producing and Directing.

I have directed 28 short films since 2016 The 19th placed in 13 Film Festivals🏆 and won Best Director and Best Women Empowerment Film. The 26th film won 🏆Best Screenplay at Beyond Hollywood International Film Festival. The 28th participated in the AGBO 48 hour film festival in 2024.

I have also made two feature length documentaries and two short form documentaries.

I love making and telling stories in every way possible.

Supported on 10 feature films on TWDS titles across the globe.
Collaborated with partners across lines of business to host a company wide earth month webinar educating employees on sustainable production initiatives on set.
Designed department branding guidelines, as well as implemented PowerPoint, Word and Excel templates for studio and production use.
Created a production report template highlighting KPIs and initiatives on set to present to physical production executives upon wrap.

San Francisco Cartoon Art Museum

Filmed and edited comic professionals, live events, and exhibitions at the museum.
